General Rental Conditions -
Terms and conditions

  1. All rentals are nominative and can in no case be transferred or sublet.
  2. The rental becomes effective only with the agreement, and after receipt of a payment corresponding to a deposit of 50 % of the rental, to which must be added the rental fees, and the cancellation insurance (in case of subscription).
  3. Schedules :
    • Camping-Caravaning : arrivals : from 1pm to 8pm - departures : before 10.30am
    • Rental accommodation: arrivals: from 3pm to 8pm - departures: before 10.30am
  4. Animals are accepted (except category 1 and 2 animals) under the following conditions:
    • Must be kept on a leash
    • Access to the toilets and swimming pool forbidden
    • Prohibition to leave them alone
    • Certificate of Compulsory Vaccination
  5. The number of people staying on the pitch or in the rental accommodation shall in no case be greater than that indicated on arrival or authorised in the rental accommodation, even for one night. The person(s) would be refused entry to Camping l'Ile d'Amour. It is forbidden to pitch a tent on the garden of the rental accommodation.
  6. Ground fires are prohibited. Barbecues on feet are allowed with the usual precautions, outside the accommodation (also outside the terraces). Barbecues are available on site. Electric barbecues are forbidden.
  7. Anyone coming to visit you must be declared at the office and must pay the current rate.
  8. The swimming pool is reserved exclusively for the clients of Camping l'Île d'Amour. Minor children bathe under the sole responsibility of their parents.
  9. The balance of the stay in the camper van must be paid in full 30 days before arrival. No reduction will be granted in case of late arrival or early departure. In the absence of a written message from the client, specifying that he has had to postpone the date of arrival, the pitch becomes available 24 hours after the date of arrival stipulated in the rental contract. Article 13 or 14 is then applied.
  10. The balance of the stay in rental accommodation must be paid in full no later than 30 days before arrival. No reduction will be granted in case of late arrival or early departure. In the absence of a written message from the client, specifying that he has had to postpone the date of arrival, the rental accommodation will become available 24 hours after the date of arrival stipulated in the rental contract. Article 13 or 14 shall then apply.
  11. For rental accommodation, a deposit of €300 (credit card or cash only) will be required on arrival. This will be returned in full in the week following departure, provided that no cleaning is required and no damage or shortage of equipment is noted.
  12. Cancellation insurance is offered for rentals of a minimum of one week of camping-caravaning pitches or rental accommodation. The insurance contract will be given to you on request.
  13. In case of cancellation without insurance, you will be held back or you will still have to :
    • Rental contract fees, regardless of the date of cancellation
    • The deposit on the rental, in the case of a cancellation less than 30 days before arrival, as compensation for breach of contract.
  14. In case of cancellation with insurance, you will be held back or you will still have to :
    • Rental contract and cancellation insurance costs
    • Compensation for breach of contract as indicated above, which will be reimbursed to you by the insurance according to the conditions set out in the cancellation insurance contract.
  15. It is up to the tenant to be insured for civil liability. The campsite declines all responsibility in case of theft, fire, bad weather, floods, etc. and in case of fire falling under the tenant's civil liability.
  16. The rules of procedure are posted in the office. Any person entering the Camping l'Ile d'Amour is required to respect them.
  1. Any rented accommodation may only be used by the authorized signatory and can under no circumstances be let for sale or sublet.
  2. Property renting comes into effect after due agreement and reception of 50% instalment of the total rent, to which are added renting charges and a cancellation policy (if you decided to subscribe to it).
  3. Timetable:
    • For Camping-Caravanning spots: Arrivals: between 1 and 8 p.m. - Departures: before 10:30 p.m.
    • For a rented accommodation: Arrivals: between 3 and 8 p.m. - Departures: before 10:30 p.m.
  4. Pets are accepted (except category 1 and 2 animals in French Law) under the following conditions:
    • If kept on a leach
    • If kept away from the pool, bathroom and toilets
    • If always looked after by their master
    • Certificate of vaccination
  5. The number of people living in the provided spot or rented accommodation should not exceed the figure indicated upon the arrival or authorized in the rented accommodation, even for one night. If this was to be the case, the access to the entrance of the village would be denied to this people.
  6. It is strictly forbidden to install a tent in the garden provided with the rented accommodation.
  7. It is strictly forbidden to light fires on the ground. Barbecues on a stand are allowed with the necessary use precautions, outside the rented accommodations. Barbecues are at your disposal on the spot. Electric Barbecues are strictly forbidden.
  8. Any visiting friend or parent should be declared in reception and settle the corresponding entrance charges for external visitors.
  9. The swimming pool is exclusively reserved for the clients of "Camping l'Île d'Amour". Persons under 18 are allowed to bathe under the sole responsibility of parents.
  10. The balance of the stay for a camping-caravanning spot should be entirely settled 30 days before arrival. No reduction of any sort can be consented in case of late arrival or anticipated departure. In the absence of a written message from the client, specifying a postponed arrival date, the spot becomes available for rent 24 hours after the arrival date indicated on the rental agreement. Article 13 or 14 becomes in this case applicable.
  11. The balance of the stay for a rented accommodation should entirely be settled at the latest 30 days before arrival. No reduction of any sort can be consented in case of late arrival or anticipated departure. In the absence of a written message from the client, specifying a postponed arrival date, the spot becomes available for rent 24 hours after the arrival date indicated on the rental agreement. Article 13 or 14 becomes in this case applicable.
  12. For rented accommodations, a 300 € deposit (credit card or cash only) will be required upon arrival. It will be entirely refunded by post in the week following the departure, if no housework is necessary and if no missing equipment is observed.
  13. A cancellation insurance is suggested for a minimum stay of one-week rental of camping-caravanning spot or rented accommodation. The Insurance policy is delivered to you upon request.
  14. In case of cancellation without any insurance subscribed, you will still be charged of:
    • The renting agreement charges
    • In compensation for the breach of contract, if the cancellation was made less than 30 days before arrival, you will be charged of your deposit.
  15. In case of cancellation with a subscription policy, you will still be charged of:
    • The rental agreement charges and the cancellation policy
    • A compensation for the breach of contract indicated above, which will be refunded to you by the insurance according to the conditions specified in the insurance policy (see cancellation paragraph) It is up to the tenant to be insured in terms of public liability. The campsite declines any responsibility in case of robbery, fire, bad weather... and in case of fire imputable to the public liability of the tenant.
    • The village rules are posted in reception. Any person coming to the village is requested to abide by them.
